Red Oak Floor Installation & Refinishing in Aurora

The homeowners had hardwood floors on the first floor, except in the family room, which had carpet. They decided to replace the carpet with new 2 ¼” Red Oak hardwood floors due to bad smells and allergies. Since they were also updating their old kitchen cabinets, it was the perfect time to refinish the worn-down floors and make them look beautiful again.  They decided to find help from professional hardwood floor installation and refinishing contractors – Big Bro Hardwood!

The stain was a custom mix of 1 part Ebony and 1 part Provincial. Because the homeowners had a dog, they chose a durable, commercial-grade finish: Loba 2K Duo. To complete the look, brand-new base shoes were installed.

This was an amazing project, and we completed it within 8 workdays. The owners were happy with the results and really enjoyed their beautiful new floors!
